While I'm getting some break from the depression I wanted to let my friends and others here know about this. A few weeks ago, CBS news finally did a 2 month investigation into the Social Security Administration and reported some how the disabled are really treated! I and many others like me that are disabled have been trying for years, eight years personally speaking, and every major news media outlet, print & broadcast, has ignored us trying to get this horror into the public eye. And I mean they did not respond to postal, email or phone attempts to get this covered! Since the report by CBS news, none of the other news outlets seem to be reporting it, nor are the leaders or candidates running for President. 16,000 people died in one year alone without ANY HELP!!!

When I went through that battle 8 years ago, not once did they (SSA) EVER take a single x-ray or MRI and as talked about in the report, issued letters of denial based on no evidence. Because of my mental problems, I had multiple times requested help with filling out the forms and was blatantly refused, despite the law requires them to! In the appeal, I selected the option on their form for the informal hearing and they evaded ever scheduling the hearing and tried to force me to undergo psychological examinations even though I filed ONLY on my physical disability. I DID NOT WANT TO BE FORCED BACK INTO A BADLY BROKEN MENTAL HEALTH SYSTEM and I fought back. I am one of a very few that can say I fought the system and won. When I finally got my hearing, I represented myself, no attorney and I WON! It wasn't hard considering I got crushed by a full size Chevy Pickup & a 65 Dodge Charger... that is about 10,000 pounds that crushed me. It would have been real easy for them to figure out if they had done a real evaluation instead of a pretend one.

I am asking others to help bring this to the attention of others and to write our leaders & the news companies and hold them accountable. The misconduct of the SSA has literally destroyed hundreds of thousands of lives and it is not the only agency, mental health is one that has been broken even longer and it goes right down the chain to local governments as well. I have been fighting for my rights getting the police here in Merced, California for years, the latest refusing to produce police reports that both California & U.S. Law require them to produce to the victim or authorized agent. They have been stalling for over 45 days and are now trying to claim a 14 day time limit which they stalled a month past before informing us.



TO MY FRIENDS - I hope this explains my absence. I haven't worked on any new stuff, just trying to fight back as best I can.
